“Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Allison moved out to attend college back in 2006. There have been many changes in her life since then, including an upcoming wedding this September. She and I thought it was finally time to bring her old room into the present. 😉
As we sorted through and dusted off some old memories, we came across a hot air balloon we created together for a third grade home school project. I thought it deserved a prominent place in the new surroundings, so I decided to hang it just over the light switch.
When I see it, I remember us cutting out the pattern while we talked about traveling to places all over the globe. The conversation continued as we stitched it up, stuffed it, and added a passenger. I can still hear her little scratchy voice and BIG imagination, as she talked about all the places she’d fly. 😉
Allison, May you keep a soaring heart as you add a copilot and embark on a new journey this September. Our hearts travel with you!
Until Next Time,
Know The Hope!
